His journey from personal struggles with addiction to a beacon of hope for others has fueled his mission to create a supportive haven where individuals can find healing, strength, and empowerment. Beyond his role as an owner, Matthew is a beacon of inspiration, advocating tirelessly for mental health awareness, addiction recovery, and destigmatization. His genuine compassion and unwavering support uplift those around him, instilling hope and resilience in the hearts of all who cross his path.
Jenna Boudreau
Chief Operating Officer
Jenna is proof that recovery from addiction is possible. Her passion for helping those afflicted with substance use disorders is evident by the dedication she has to her job. As the Chief Operating Officer, Jenna oversees the daily operations at Aftermath Addiction Treatment Center. Jenna has a variety of experience in the substance abuse treatment field as she has worked as a behavioral health technician, case manager, and director of operations. A mother to a wonderful son, Jenna brings a unique perspective to those with families who seek help with substance abuse. She has been in the client’s shoes and brings an understanding of their struggles and needs. Jenna is a frontline warrior in the recovery field and brings her years of experience to the Aftermath addiction treatment team.
Christopher Cuscia, LMHC
Director of Clinical Services
I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health counselor who spent over 6 years helping people who struggle with co-occurring disorders. I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and graduated with Chi Sigma Iota, National Honor Society. I am significantly passionate about helping and empowering people who lost their way towards regaining their sense of self and well-being. I have provided clinical support in all levels of addiction treatment and outpatient mental health integrated into ambulatory care.
Nicole Limone, MS CMHC
Primary Clinician
Nicole is a Primary Therapist at Aftermath who received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Merrimack College, and is on track for licensure in 2024. Nicole has been working in the field of addiction for the past three years in various levels of care. Nicole is dedicated to helping people seeking treatment for substance use disorders better their lives by processing and coping with the underlying issues that exacerbate addiction. Nicole utilizes both her experience from her education and working in the field, and her experience of addiction within her own family to meet patients where they are at and show them the empathy and compassion that they need in the early, vulnerable stages of their recovery. She encourages patients to involve their families in the treatment and recovery process, as she understands that the person seeking treatment is rarely the only person recovering from the impact of addiction. Nicole feels passionately about providing an environment for our patients that is positive, welcoming, and therapeutic. She views the patients and the members of the recovery community as part of her own family, and treats them as such.
Paul Pirundini
Primary Therapist
Paul is a clinician with a strong focus on behavioral change and trauma-informed care. His education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, earned from the University of New Hampshire, followed by a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johnson & Wales University. With over three years of clinical experience, Paul specializes in helping clients create meaningful and lasting change through evidence-based treatment modalities, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness practices, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure Therapy. With a professional background including work in diverse treatment settings such as inpatient recovery programs, in-home therapy services, and outpatient individual counseling. This range of experience allows him to adapt his therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client, while maintaining a compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered style. Paul is dedicated to supporting individuals as they work toward greater emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth.
Ron Sayres
Primary Therapist
Ron earned his Master of Science degree in Human Services from Springfield College, with a major in Mental Health and a minor in Addictions. He has over 15 years of clinical experience supporting individuals across a wide range of needs, including addictions, mental health concerns, anger management, LGBTQ+ issues, and survivors and perpetrators of domestic and sexual violence. Drawing from his diverse education and practice, Ron integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), while also incorporating holistic and spiritual approaches to foster balance and healing. His therapeutic philosophy is grounded in compassion, insight, and education, as he describes: “My purpose in life is to offer a caring ear and shoulder, accompanied with insight and educational techniques to assist in the growth and progress of my patients.”
John Hanson
Director of Community Outreach
John is an active member and a strong advocate in the recovery community. Through his participation and experience in running charity events, he endeavors to reach as many of those facing problems with substance abuse as possible. John will often facilitate groups focused on “understanding my disease” as well as “exploring fears and resentments.” As the Director of Community Outreach, John connects with members of neighboring towns and cities to facilitate the placement and care of those afflicted with a substance use disorder. His compassion for those struggling with the disease of addiction is evident by the work he puts in to help a fellow addict find a better way of life.
Dylan Stockdale
Community Outreach Coordinator
Dylan is a passionate advocate in the addiction recovery field, firmly believing that addiction is a disease requiring empathy and individualized care. With over three years of experience in various roles, including, most recently, as Director of Operations at an outpatient facility, he is dedicated to meeting patients where they’re at in their recovery journey. His work is driven by a strong commitment to supporting people in recovery and ensuring their needs are prioritized. In his role in Community Outreach at Aftermath, Dylan focuses on expanding access to recovery resources and building partnerships that help individuals overcome barriers to treatment. He is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by addiction, continually advocating for greater support and understanding.
Nicole Comita
Intake Coordinator
Nicole is our intake coordinator who assists with daily tasks at Aftermath. Nicole also has personal experience in recovery from substance use and is passionate about helping others who suffer from this disease. She has compassion for those who are struggling and utilizes her experience to have a positive outlook on life. She is a mother to an amazing little girl who is her world. Nicole has been in recovery for 12 years and started her journey at a young age and utilizes that by always having an open ear to patients that are starting their recovery journey.
Meghan O'Shea
Case Manager
Meghan is a case manager at Aftermath who has a bachelor’s in management and is currently finishing her master’s in social work at Salem State University, she will graduate in the spring of 2025. She has been working in the field of social work since 2010, previously working as a benefits eligibility and referral social worker for the Department of Transitional Assistance. Meghan also has personal experience in recovery from substance use and is passionate about helping others who suffer from this disease. Meghan utilizes both her education and experience to facilitate recovery from mental health issues and addiction with a holistic approach. She encourages patients to always try to have a positive outlook and to do their best to be open to the lessons the universe may be trying to teach them through difficult situations.
Sophia Costa
Case Manager
Sophia earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Certificate in Criminology and is pursuing her Master’s in Forensic Psychology. She is dedicated to supporting those navigating mental health challenges, helping them build resilience, achieve personal goals, and develop healthier coping strategies. Sophia is passionate about advocating for individuals whose voices are often overlooked and strives to create a safe, compassionate space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered in their journey toward growth and healing.
